Food Wasting in America!
America is among the largest food wasting countries in the world where consumers waste an average of 454 grams of food per person per day. In such a meal can fill the stomach of a needy person.
Europe is not far behind: 8.8 tonnes of food is wasted in Europe. The cost of which is 17.7 crores. Britain alone wastes $ 19.7 billion in food a year. It also contains 3 million glasses of milk.
The Price of Waste: The United Nations Food Program says that the world's richest countries waste 750 billion dollars of food every year, while half the amount is enough to satisfy the world's hunger.
